The short version
Servings Converter is a tool that runs entirely in your browser. Your recipe, your ingredient list, and the numbers you enter are calculated on your own device. They are not uploaded anywhere, not stored by us, and not shared with anyone.
What we collect
Nothing. The tool does not collect personal data, does not read your files, and uses no analytics or tracking scripts. It has no account system, so there is nothing to register for.
Where your calculations happen
All conversion math — scaling your recipe, changing servings, converting units — happens locally in your browser using the page's own JavaScript. You can verify this yourself: disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool still works. Nothing you type is sent over the network.
Cookies
This site currently does not set cookies and does not ask for any permission.
Third-party advertising
This site is free to use, and to keep it that way we may place third-party ads on it in the future (for example, ads served by a network such as Google AdSense). If and when we do, those third parties may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and they may process limited data such as your IP address and browser information according to their own privacy policies. This page will be updated when advertising is enabled.
